Youth and open exhibitors recognized at one of the nation’s most prestigious livestock shows

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 28, 2025) – Since 1899, the American Royal Livestock Show has been a cornerstone of tradition and excellence in the livestock industry. The 2025 show received more than 8,000 entries from 2,323 exhibitors from across the country who competed for national recognition, carrying forward a legacy that has shaped animal agriculture for generations.

The renowned Royal Elite Drive and Junior Premium Livestock Auction featured the market animal champions, raising more than $800,000 to support junior exhibitors.

Market Show Champions

  • Grand Champion Market Barrow: Kynlee Hill of Greensburg, Ind.
  • Reserve Champion Market Barrow: Carmen Malena of Leigh, Neb.
  • Grand Champion Market Lamb: Crew Freeland of Gretna, Neb.
  • Reserve Champion Market Lamb: Hayes Henderson of Kilmichael, Miss.
  • Grand Champion Market Goat: Brisco Black of Zephyr, Texas
  • Reserve Champion Market Goat: Bennett Gordon of Whitewood, S.D.
  • Grand Champion Market Steer: Kelton Arthur of Stillwater, Okla.
  • Reserve Champion Market Steer: Cannon Reimann of Ree Heights, S.D.

In addition, the American Royal recognized the Premier Junior Market Exhibitor within each species for outstanding achievement in the show ring and leadership in agriculture.

  • Swine: Isabella Norman-Rusnak of DeLand, Fla.
  • Sheep: Rylee Vohs of Moville, Iowa
  • Goat: Jaci Falkenstien of Oswego, Kan.
  • Cattle: Kiera Bremer of Fullerton, Neb.

Breeding Show Champions

  • Supreme Champion Open Bull: Hawes Cattle of Athens, Texas; Jeff Paulsen of Preston, Iowa; and Garrett Post of Shabbona, Ill., exhibiting the grand champion Hereford
  • Supreme Champion Open Female: Breckyn Bloomberg of Secor, Ill., exhibiting the grand champion Percentage Simmental
  • Supreme Champion Junior Heifer: Chloee Clark of Muldrow, Okla., exhibiting the grand champion Purebred Simmental
