Learn to ‘Que
Come to the American Royal to learn from barbecue experts about the basics of the ‘que! Girl Scouts can expect to learn about the basics of competition barbecue, what makes great sauces and rubs, and food safety.
Age groups invited to this event are: Juniors & Cadettes. The American Royal will accept 50 total Girl Scouts for this event.
Cost will be $5.50/Scout and $5.50/Adult Chaperone, and $5.50/Sibling. The cost will help in providing resources for the event.
This event does not have specific badge requirements it completes, but an American Royal patch will be provided to all Girl Scouts that attend.
Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. CST on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
Buddies at the Barn
Come to the American Royal to witness our Spring Livestock Show! Girl Scouts will hear from individuals who work with animals on a daily basis and learn about what it takes to care for and show cattle, sheep, pigs, and goats.
Brownies are invited to this event.
The American Royal will accept 50 total Brownies.
Cost will be $5.50/Scout and $5.50/Adult Chaperone, and $5.50/Sibling. The cost will help in providing resources for the event.
This event does not have specific badge requirements it completes, but an American Royal patch will be provided to all Brownies who attend.
Please note that Girl Scouts will be in barns containing animals, straw, hay, wood chips, and dust.
