Attend the American Royal Field Trip
Elementary students from around the Kansas City area are invited to a roundup of American Royal fun and educational events! The American Royal Field Trip is designed to educate students in 1st through 4th grade and consists of attending the Youth Rodeo.
As the largest American Royal education event, the Field Trip engages students at the elementary level to connect them to the science of agriculture – food, animals, and plants. As generations become farther removed from production agriculture, the American Royal Field Trip event connects students to food sources and the farmers and ranchers who produce and raise animals and crops. After touring educational exhibits, students gather in Hale Arena to eat their lunch and experience the American Royal Youth Rodeo!
