Attend AR Live! And The Youth Rodeo!
Ages: 1st – 4th Grades
Dates: April 20, 21, 22, 2027
Elementary students from around the Kansas City area are invited to a roundup of American Royal fun and educational events! This two-part field trip consists of the opportunity to come for the morning and engage in interactive stations designed to expand young students’ exposure to agriculture. If that wasn’t enough fun, the early afternoon is dedicated to our famous Youth Rodeo. Students can stay for the second part of the day and watch 11-18 year olds compete in a true Rodeo. Come prepared for excitement as it gets really loud when we cheer on the these young competitors.
As the largest American Royal education event, AR Live! (previously known as Field Trip) engages students at the elementary level to connect them to the science of agriculture – food, animals, and plants. As generations become further removed from production agriculture, the American Royal Field Trip event connects students to food sources and the farmers and ranchers who produce and raise animals and crops. After touring educational exhibits, students gather in Hale Arena to eat their lunch and experience the American Royal Youth Rodeo!
AR Live! And Youth Rodeo tickets are now available for the Spring 2027 event, and will remain open until each day’s allotment of tickets sells out.
