When can we arrive for the Royal Showcase?

• Move-in: September 11th at 10:00 a.m.

What are the dates for the Royal Showcase?

• Show: September 12-13

Where is the new facility located?

• The new American Royal facility is located at State Avenue and 118th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, just northwest of Kansas Speedway.
• The campus sits on about 80 acres east of 118th Street. The permanent address will be 1899 American Royal Way. The temporary construction address is 11602 State Avenue.

How do we get there? 

From the east: 

• Use the I-435 N / State Avenue West exit 
• Travel west on State Avenue toward the American Royal site 
• Proceed to marked site entrance at 115th and State Avenue 

From the west: 

• Use K-7 to access State Avenue  
• Travel east on State Avenue 
• Continue past north 118th Street 
• Proceed to marked site entrance at 115th and State Avenue 

What health papers do I need? 

• All equus attending the Royal Showcase must provide the following documentation:
  • 30 day Health Certificate issued by a veterinarian
  • Negative Equine Infectious Anemia test results (Negative Coggins)
• All equine health papers will be checked on the north side of the Northwest parking lot when entering the new campus.
  • Once your health papers have been checked, you will receive a certificate that can be exchanged in the show office at check-in for your back numbers.

What is the check-in procedure?

• Guests will enter the new campus via 115th street off of State Avenue.
• Take 115th street north towards American Royal Way and turn left.
• Turn left into the parking lot located on the northwest corner of the property.
• Health papers will be checked at the white tent in the northwest parking lot.
• To unload trailers, head to the south side of the barns towards doors 37S and 40S.
  • Once you have unloaded, proceed to park your trailers and vehicles in the northeast Lot.
• You may re-enter the barns using door 2N.
• Show Office
  • The Show Office is located on the north side of Barn 3.
    • Make sure you bring payment to have on file

What about RV/Trailer hook-ups?

• If you requested RV/Trailer Hook ups, please check in at the Show Office for your official paperwork.  

When is the show office open? 

• Friday | 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• Saturday | 6 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Sunday | 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
