
The American Royal Chairman’s Club is a group of emerging, Kansas City based professionals with high potential for success in their chosen field. These individuals exhibit their passion for community involvement and interaction by serving as ambassadors and leaders for the American Royal and promoting our mission.
The program was created with the intent that members will invest in the future of Kansas City, and support the American Royal’s mission to be the Nation’s leader for food and agriculture education, events and engagement.
Currently, the Chairman’s Club has around 50 members and meets almost monthly. Members of the Chairman’s Club have the opportunity to participate in exclusive tours or presentations and meet with leaders of some of Kansas City’s most exclusive companies and organizations. These opportunities give members insight into their own career paths and leadership styles.
Additionally, the group is responsible for Governor recruitment and supporting the American Royal through volunteerism and leadership. They host Governor recruiting events such as Royal After Hours and assist with the planning and execution of Uptown Hoedown each year.

Interested candidates can apply by submitting an online application, including a resume. The application period for 2026 will open November 1, 2025.
The Chairman’s Club leadership team, American Royal Advisor, American Royal Representative, and President and CEO will review prospective member submissions. If your application is considered for membership, a Chairman’s Club member will contact you to meet and discuss the commitment in more detail and answer any questions.
