Since 1905, the American Royal has featured a variety of equine shows, from Quarter and Arabian to Hunter/Jumper and draft horses. As the Royal strategically prepares for growth into a new home in Kansas City, Kansas, we are excited to offer the best possible event experience in a state-of-the-art, multi-arena facility.
Our vision in the new facility is to honor the tradition of the American Royal Horse Show, where multiple breeds and disciplines host their shows in a span of a few weeks. The American Royal is working with sanctioning bodies and committees to proactively pursue this vision. We are taking time to evaluate partnerships, event dates, and show schedules, to ensure we produce a show that is dedicated to exhibitor experience and great competition both regionally and nationally. With that in mind, there will not be an Arabian Horse show until the American Royal is operating in its new campus.
