Gelbvieh enthusiasts shine at the Royal

The Gelbvieh Show was one for the books. Quality breeders with prestigious genetics traveled from all over to exhibit their cattle at the American Royal. The high quality competition made the judging process fun and challenging for Judge Kelly Bruns from North Platte, Nebraska, and for the spectators outside of the show ring. Both the Gelbvieh and Balancer divisions had high numbers and awesome looking cattle.

I always love seeing young kids just beginning their own path in the livestock industry. After seeing the families outside the ring and exhibitors in the ring,  I believe they will have a great future of cattle and outstanding set of youth to one day lead their association.

Congratulations to all and good luck with your showing career! I wish you nothing but the best!

Champion Balancer Bull went to Emily Griffiths / Overmiller Gelbvieh from Smith Center, Kansas.
Champion Gelbvieh Bull went to Emily Grifffiths from Kendallville, Indiana.
Champion Balancer Female went to Volek Ranch / Wes and Brittany Spencer from Highmore, South Dakota.
Champion Gelbvieh Female went to Dromgooles Heaven from Mason, Texas.
