With record-high numbers, about 500 market hogs paraded the show ring today. Out of the eight divisions, Judge Al Snedegar selected Blake Danner from Chalmers, Indiana, to have the Overall Grand Champion Market Hog. Then, Snedegar chose Olivia Caldwell from Elmwood, Illinois, to have the Overall Reserve Champion Market Hog. Danner’s 279-pound market hog won the crossbred division and Caldwell’s 275-pound market hog won the duroc division.

Berkshire: Levi Logue – Liberty, Indiana – 269 pounds
Chester: Emily Mead – Sturgis, Michigan – 265 pounds
Hampshire: Olivia Caldwell – Elmwood, Illinois – 288 pounds
Spot: Peyton Hill – Nevada, Texas – 267 pounds
Yorkshire: Jason Bedwell – New Richmond, Indiana – 275 pounds
AOB: Marissa Jordan – Douglas, Oklahoma – 252 pounds
