The American Royal is excited to offer four undergraduate college students from colleges/ universities across the United States the opportunity to serve as the 2014 American Royal Livestock Show Media Interns. During their internship, they will host a range of responsibilities from writing human interest stories, contributing to the American Royal blog and managing American Royal Livestock social media platforms to shooting candid photos and assisting breed associations with recording show results. Plus, interns will receive a $500 scholarship following the completion of their internship.

The 2014 American Royal Livestock Show Media Internship applicant pool included more than 55 talented students from 33 different colleges/ universities located in in 19 difference states. 2014 Livestock Show Media Interns include: Keely Hamman (Texas Tech), Melissa Grimmel (Kansas State), Taylor Gazda (Oklahoma State) and Jessica Harsh(Purdue).
