On Saturday, Nov. 2, the Angus Royalty Sale was held in the American Royal Sale Arena. The sale included 16 heifers that grossed $69,072 with a sale average of $4,317.

In addition to the live lots, embryos and pregnancies were also available for purchase. The 65 embryos averaged $700. Three pregnancies averaged $4,250.

The 2013 Angus Royalty Sale will donate one percent of the proceeds to the 2014 National Junior Angus Show held in Indianapolis, Ind.
