Robert Alden of Hamilton, Mo., evaluated the Junior Charolais Show at the 2013 American Royal. More than 30 entries competed for top honors, but it was DSUL Lexi Z66 ET, owned by Jeb Skiles Jr. of Dalhart, Texas, that was named Grand Champion Female. Prior to being named overall champion, this heifer was named Senior Champion Female. Reserve was awarded to Wal-Mar Caught On Fire 205P owned by Taylor Goering of McPherson, Kan. This heifer was first named Reserve Senior Female.
