Junior Market Beef Showmanship Champions Named

KANSAS CITY—Youth from 17 states competed for top honors in the Market Beef Showmanship Contest held on Friday, Oct. 25, at the American Royal Complex in Kansas City, Mo. Judge Chris Sankey of Council Grove, Kan., selected Nathan Hilburn of Denver City, Texas, as champion showman. Reserve champion showman was awarded to Myka Blissard of Big Spring, Texas.
Division I Showmanship (Ages 10-12):
Champion: Myka Blissard of Big Spring, Texas
Reserve Champion: Carson Shafer of Eaton, Ohio
Division II Showmanship (Ages 13-16):
Champion: Kassidy Bremer of Redfield, Iowa
Reserve Champion: Lauren May of Mineral Point, Wis.
Division III Showmanship (Ages 17-19):
Champion: Nathan Hilburn of Denver City, Texas
Reserve Champion: Jessica Millenbaugh of Crestline, Ohio
