Junior AOB/Commercial Junior Heifer Show Names Champions

KANSAS CITY – The Junior AOB/Commercial Heifer Show was held on Nov. 1 in Hale Arena at the American Royal. The show consisted of 35 head of females and was judged by Barry Nowatzke of Michigan City, Ind.

The Grand Champion AOB Heifer was exhibited by Adam AcMoody of Union City, Mich., with Lucy 407Z. This April 7, 2012 female was previously named Champion Junior Heifer. The Reserve Grand Champion Female was Chantel 1Z, a March 7, 2012 female owned by Becca Chamberlin of Winchester, Ind. She was first named Champion Senior Heifer.

KSP Gemma 4533A, an April 15, 2013 female owned by Hunter Perrier of Bartlesville, Okla., was named Champion Junior Heifer Calf. August Bertz of Mayview, Mo., exhibited the Reserve Champion Junior Heifer Calf, ML Lady Augusta 1324, born on April 10, 2013.

Caydi Blaha of El Campo, Texas, exhibited the Champion Senior Heifer Calf, SSST Ashley 168Z. This heifer was born on October 20, 2012. Ms Snow Angel, a November 3, 2012 heifer owned by Chance Clark of Romance, Ark., was named the Reserve Champion Senior Heifer Calf.

The Reserve Champion Junior Heifer was Dunk Ms Fussy 423Z, an April 23, 2012 female owned by Colton Kleinschmidt of Sutton, Neb.

Claiming the Reserve Champion Senior Heifer was SULL Jalynn Beauty, born on Feb. 3, 2012, and owned by Kane Aegerter of Seward, Neb.
