Kansas City—Scott Schaake of Manhattan, Kan., evaluated the ShorthornPlus Female Show at the 2013 American Royal in Kansas City, Mo.

Sara Sullivan of Dunlap, Iowa, exhibited the Grand Champion ShorthornPlus Female. Her heifer, SULL Blue Raspberry 2264 ET, was an early spring yearling born on Apr. 23, 2012. Clayton Boyert of Seville, Ohio, exhibited the Reserve Champion ShorthornPlus Female, SULL Jalynn’s Right ET, a junior yearling female born on Feb. 1, 2012.

The American Royal Association is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that has been a Kansas City tradition since 1899.
