KANSAS CITY—Exhibitors from six states competed for top honors during the 2013 American Royal Braunvieh Show held Oct. 26, in Kansas City, Mo. Kelly Bruns, Brookings, S.D., evaluated 46 head in the fullblood/purebred and percentage shows.

DIA N Sweet Thing 60Z was named Grand Champion Fullblood/Purebred Female. Owned by Anna Gaddy and exhibited by Don Hankins of Willard, Mo, she first won Junior Champion Female. Reserve Grand Champion Fullblood/Purebred Female went to BLC Carefree 316A owned and exhibited by Brink Livestock of Piedmont, Kan. She first won junior heifer calf champion.

The Grand Champion Fullblood/Purebred Bull, SF Mojo, was owned and exhibited by Clay Stotts of Lone Oak, Texas. He first won Champion Senior Bull. The Reserve Champion Fullblood/Purebred Bull, OCC The Wow Factor Z279, was owned and exhibited by Don Hankins. He first won Senior Bull Calf Champion.
