Miniature Hereford results from the 2013 American Royal

Harmon Show Cattle of Tekamah, Neb., exhibited the Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Female, KAP 1/2 Huntress Unique. She was first selected as Champion Junior Heifer.
SS Miss Harriet was the Reserve Champion Miniature Hereford Female after first winning Senior Heifer Calf Champion. Splitt Creek Ranch exhibited this female and she is owned by Judy Splitt of North Platte, Neb.
In the bull show, RR Prince took home the Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Bull honors. He was exhibited by Splitt Creek Ranch and owned by Judy Spiltt, North Platte Neb., and was named Champion Junior Bull earlier in the day.
The Reserve Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Bull, MC Payton, was exhibited and owned by Shelly McIntyre of Elbert, Colo. MC Payton first won Senior Bull Calf Champion.
Eric and Tina Snyder/River Ridge Mini Herefords of Eldon, Iowa, exhibited the Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Cow-Calf Pair, KAP Teddy’s Lil Coral.
Cody McCullough of Allerton, Iowa, exhibited the Reserve Champion Miniature Hereford Cow-Calf Pair, RR Sassy. She is owned by Madison McCullough of Allerton, Iowa.
The Champion Miniature Hereford Prospect Steer was exhibited and owned by John A Yates III of Artesia, N.M.
KANSAS CITY—Chris Sankey of Council Grove, Kan., evaluated the 44 entries in the Miniature Hereford Show on Sunday, Oct. 27, at the American Royal Complex in Kansas City, Mo.
Harmon Show Cattle exhibited the Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Female with its KAP ½ Huntress Unique summer yearling heifer. The Champion Bull was exhibited by Splitt Creek Ranch of North Platte, Neb., with its RHH Prince summer yearling bull. John A. Yates III of Artesia, N.M., exhibited the Champion Prospect Steer with YMH Cinco.
Before winning Grand Champion Miniature Hereford Female, Harmon Show Cattle’s heifer, owned by Harlo Cattle Co./Laurie Elliott Harmon Show Cattle of Tekamah, Neb., was selected as the Champion Junior Heifer. Splitt Creek Ranch exhibited the Reserve Champion Junior Female, SS Miss Harriet.
Before being named Grand Champion Bull, Splitt Creek Ranch’s entry was first selected as the Champion Junior Bull. J Bar W Cattle Co. was selected as Reserve Champion Junior Bull with JW/SP’s Full House, owned by Singing Pines Ranch and J Bar W Cattle Co. of Elizabeth, Colo.
