KANSAS CITY—Junior market goat exhibitors from across the country competed for top honors at the American Royal Market Goat Show held Thursday, Oct. 24, in Kansas City, Mo. Chip Kemp of Auxvasse, Mo., sorted through 176 entries.

Skyler Scotten of Nevada, Mo., exhibited the Grand Champion Market Goat. The 89-pound entry was first named Division II Champion. Cooper Bounds of Taneytown, Md., was named Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat, also being the Reserve Champion in Division II.

Champion Market Goat in Division I was awarded to Johnna Stottlemyre of Luther, Okla., with a 76-pound goat. Braden Schovanec of Garber, Okla., exhibited the Reserve Champion Division I Market Goat.

In Division III, champion honors went to Trent Kempker of Jefferson City, Mo., with his 97-pound goat. Levi Cooley of New Salem, Ill., exhibited the Reserve Champion Market Goat in Division III.

The American Royal Association is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that has been a Kansas City tradition since 1899.
