The Grand Champion Maine-Anjou Bull was K&S Hunting Whiskey 201Z, exhibited by K&S Cattle Co., of Southmayd, Texas.

The Reserve Grand Champion Maine-Anjou Bull was KBSC Zeplan 5Z, owned by Kendall L Bremer Cattle Co., of Blakesburg, Iowa.

The Grand Champion Maine-Anjou Female was exhibited by Brandon Olivier of Harper, Kan., with BNWZ Calypso 28Y.

The Reserve Grand Champion Maine-Anjou Female was Minn Maggie 20Y, exhibited by Madison Kay Loschke of Carbondale, Kan.

The Grand Champion MaineTainer Female, Hadley’s Whiskey Girl, was shown by Kale Spengler of Durant, Iowa.

The Reserve Grand Champion MaineTainer Female, K&A Daiquiri 176Y, was shown by Jordan Crall of Albia, Iowa.

KANSAS CITY—On Nov. 2, the American Royal hosted the Maine-Anjou and MaineTainer breeding animal shows. Chris Sankey of Council Grove, Kan., evaluated the bull and female entries.

Maine-Anjou Bull Show Results

The Grand Champion Maine-Anjou Bull was K&S Hunting Whiskey 201Z, born on Jan. 24, 2012, and exhibited by K&S Cattle Co., of Southmayd, Texas. He first won Junior Bull Calf Champion Division II. Reserve Grand Champion Bull was KBSC Zeplan 5Z, born on Jan. 5, 2012, and owned by Kendall L Bremer Cattle Co., of Blakesburg, Iowa. He also won Reserve Junior Bull Calf Champion Division II.

Junior Bull Calf Champion Division I was awarded to WCC Octane 198Z, born on May 16, 2012 Bar R Cattle/Weber Cattle of New London, Iowa, exhibited the bull .

RIGD Wahoo, born March 18, 2011, and exhibited by Greg Wischmeier of Sperry, Iowa, received Junior Yearling Bull Champion.

Senior Bull Champion went to TLM Honor 024X, born March 13, 2010, and exhibited by Will Alexander of Brookfield, Mo.; Kellie Alexander of Hallsville, Mo.; and Truline Maines of Richards, Mo.

Maine-Anjou Female Show Results

The Grand Champion Maine-Anjou Female was awarded to Brandon Olivier of Harper, Kan., with the Junior Yearling Champion Female, BNWZ Calypso 28Y, born on March 2, 2011. Reserve Grand Champion Female was the Summer Champion Female, Minn Maggie 20Y, a May 9, 2011 heifer, exhibited by Madison Kay Loschke of Carbondale, Kan.

MWW Glitter 008Z was awarded Division I Junior Calf Champion Female, exhibited by Mason Walker of Prairie Grove, Ark. She was born March 6, 2012. KBSC Lavishing Lady 276Z, exhibited by Kendall L Bremer Cattle Co., of Blakesburg, Iowa, born on March 14, 2012, was named Division I Junior Calf Reserve Champion Female.

Division II Junior Calf Champion Female went to KBSC Carmen 202Z, a Jan. 10 calf, exhibited by Breanna Gradert of Sibley, Iowa. Reserve Division II Junior Calf Champion Female was KBSC Zola 203Z, born Jan. 10, 2012, and shown by Kendall L Bremer Cattle Co., of Blakesburg, Iowa.

Addison Dupree of Clinton, Okla., exhibited the Senior Calf Champion Female, BK Boak Yenna 1017, born Oct. 10, 2011. Olivia Foster of Green Forrest, Ark., showed the Reserve Senior Calf Champion Female, BPF Eva 901Y, a Sept. 5, 2011 heifer.

Reserve Summer Champion Female was GVC Dee Dee 101Y, born Aug. 14, 2011, and shown by Malina Lindstrom of Elm Creek, Neb.

CMCC Yum 105, an April 4, 2011 heifer, exhibited by Addison Dupree received Reserve Junior Yearling Champion Female honors.

MaineTainer Female Show Results

The Grand Champion MaineTainer Female went to the Junior Yearling Champion Female, Hadley’s Whiskey Girl, born March 2, 2011, shown by Kale Spengler of Durant, Iowa. Reserve Grand Champion MaineTainer Female went to the Reserve Junior Yearling Champion Female, K&A Daiquiri 176Y, a Feb. 19, 2011 heifer, shown by Jordan Crall of Albia, Iowa.

Miss Maine Aim Suzie Q, born March 10, 2012, exhibited by Cody Duhaime (McCullough) of Allerton, Iowa, was named Division I Junior Calf Champion Female. Miss Scarlet Rose, a March 26 calf, and shown by Chyann Smith of Storm Lake, Iowa was awarded Division I Junior Calf  Reserve Champion Female.

Division II Junior Calf Champion Female was MS Winnie 201Z, born Jan. 1, 2012, owned by Chancee Clark of Romance, Ark. RGJ Peanut 1Z, born Feb. 15, 2012, owned by Brett Jones of Ardmore, Okla., received Division II Reserve Junior Calf Champion Female honors.

Summer Champion Female was awarded to RCC Pretty Please 101Y, born May 1, 2011, exhibited by Chancee Clark of Romance, Ark. DNC Miss Brandi Y71, born May 5, 2011, shown by Chyann Smith of Storm Lake, Iowa, received Reserve Summer Champion Female.
