Elder dominates the AOB/Commercial Junior Heifer Show: Official Results

The Grand Champion AOB Heifer was exhibited by Luke Elder of Dunlap, Iowa, with SULL Who Dat 1602.

 

The Reserve Grand Champion Female, JSUL Blue Magic 2669Y, was exhibited by Luke Elder.

KANSAS CITY – The Junior AOB/Commercial Heifer Show was held on Nov. 3 in Hale Arena at the American Royal. The show consisted of 42 head of females and was judged by Mark Ebeling of Cleburne, Texas.

The Grand Champion AOB Heifer went to Luke Elder of Dunlap, Iowa, with SULL Who Dat 1602, an April 3, 2011, female. She was previously selected as the Champion Junior Heifer. The Reserve Grand Champion Female was JSUL Blue Magic 2669Y, born on March 2, 2011, and exhibited by Luke Elder. Blue Magic was previously selected as Champion Senior Heifer.

LARS 2427, a March 28, 2012 female, owned by Collin Barker of Kearney, Mo., was named Champion Junior Heifer Calf. Kyla Walter of Elk City, Okla., exhibited the Reserve Champion Junior Heifer Calf, WLTR Willow 5Z, born on April 7, 2012.

Tanner Walden of Tonganoxie, Kan., exhibited the Champion Senior Heifer Calf, BG Pebbles 1111Z. This heifer was born on Oct. 15, 2011. DDAC Erica 18Y, an Oct. 18, 2011, owned by Caleb Sayre of Elkland, Mo., was named the Reserve Champion Senior Heifer Calf.

The Reserve Champion Junior Heifer was LPCC Peaches Y29, an April 3, 2011, female, shown by Kyndal Reitzenstein of Kersey, Colo.

Claiming the Reserve Senior Champion Heifer was JSUL Black Widow 1380, born on March 5, 2011, and exhibited by Trent Kempker of Jefferson City, Mo.
