KANSAS CITY–Troy Thomas of Harrold, S.D., evaluated the Super Point Roll of Victory Angus Show at the American Royal on November 2. More than 110 exhibitors presented 136 head of Angus cattle.

Females

Broderic Fitzgerald of West Grove, Pa., exhibited the Grand Champion and Champion Junior Yearling Heifer, Cherry Knoll Lady Pippa 1111. She is a Connealy Final Solution daughter and was born on Feb. 28, 2011. Reserve Grand Champion and Champion Senior Heifer Calf went to Wallace Princess 169, exhibited by Samuel Wallace of Stotts City, Mo. She was born on Sept. 3, 2011, and is sired by WCC KLR Grand Torino 95.

Calli West of Paris, Texas, exhibited the Champion Junior Heifer Calf, BCC Elba Merrick 27Z. She was born on Feb. 4, 2012. Reserve Champion Junior Heifer Calf, Cherry Knoll Pleasant Elsa, was exhibited by Cherry Knoll Farm Inc. of West Grove, Pa., and was born on Jan. 25, 2012.

Reserve Champion Senior Heifer Calf was exhibited by Shayne Myers of Colusa, Calif., Silveiras Erica Diana 1521. She was born on Oct. 12, 2011.

Bryce Fitzgerald of West Grove, Pa., exhibited the Champion Intermediate Heifer, Cherry Knoll Richta 1159. She was born on June 6, 2011. Reserve Champion Intermediate Heifer, WB Forever Lady 1114, was born on June 2, 2011 and was exhibited by Tanner Howey of Rockwall, Texas.

Sydney Schnoor of Chowchilla, Calif., exhibited TC Lucy 1187, the Reserve Champion Junior Yearling Heifer. She was born on March 2, 2011.

Champion Senior Yearling Heifer, WR Lady 076, was born on Oct. 10, 2010. She was exhibited by Carter Ward of Plattsburg, Mo. Cody Theis of Leavenworth, Kan., exhibited the Reserve Champion Senior Yearling Heifer, AVF Blackcap 5670. She was born on Nov. 4, 2010.

 

Cow-Calf Pairs

Jamie Smith of Lebanon, Tenn., exhibited the Champion Cow-Calf Pair, JKS Miss Cheyenne 2267. She is a Boyd On Target 1083 daughter and was born on March 2, 2007. The Reserve Champion Cow-Calf Pair went to WK Lola 0383, exhibited by Matthew Malson of Parma, Idaho. She was born on Jan. 28, 2010, and is sired by BC Lookout 7024.

 

Bulls

Chris and Sharon Sankey of Council Grove, Kan., and Foster Campbell of Bossier City, La., exhibited the Grand Champion and Champion Junior Yearling Bull, Sankeys Justified 101. He is sired by Sankeys Lazer 609 of 6N and was born on Jan. 16, 2011. Reserve Grand Champion and Champion Senior Yearling Bull, Silveiras Watchout 0514, was exhibited by Silveira Brothers of Firebaugh, Calif. He is a BC Lookout 7024 son and was born on Sept. 19, 2010.

Champion Junior Bull Calf was awarded to JKS Pioneer 4202, exhibited by Jamie Smith. He was born on April 2, 2012. Mallory Espenscheid of Traer, Iowa, exhibited the Reserve Champion Junior Bull Calf, ESP Pure Power 1201. He was born on January 4, 2012.

Doug Satree Angus of Montague, Texas, exhibited the Champion Senior Bull Calf, DAJS After Effect 714. He was born on Nov. 5, 2011. Reserve Champion Senior Bull Calf was Clearwater Intensity 2171. He was born on Sept. 13, 2011, and exhibited by Jera Pipkin of Republic, Mo.

Champion Intermediate Bull was awarded to WA Free Style 155, exhibited by Wood Angus Farm LLC of Willow Spring, NC. He was born on May 14, 2011. Gary Leonard and Daughters of Perry, Iowa, exhibited the Reserve Champion Intermediate Bull, GL Stockman 194. He was born on May 4, 2011.

Mark and Carla Malson of Parma, Idaho, exhibited the Reserve Champion Junior Yearling Bull. Malsons Prestige 192Y was born on Feb. 7, 2011.

Reserve Champion Senior Yearling Bull, Gambles November Rain, was exhibited by Holly Gamble of Clinton, Tenn., and Wood Angus Farm LLC. He was born on Sept. 3, 2010.

 

Group Classes

Silveira Brothers exhibited the Junior and Senior Get-of-Sire group class winners.
