American Royal Open Limousin and Lim-Flex Show: Official Results

KANSAS CITY—Ernie Wallace of Stotts City, Mo., evaluated the Lim-Flex and Limousin Level I Medal of Excellence Show November 1. The show consisted of 29 head presented by 31 exhibitors from across the U.S.

Results from the 2012 American Royal Lim-Flex Level I Medal of Excellence Show 

Lim-Flex Females

Pinegar Limousin of Springfield, Mo., exhibited the Champion Lim-Flex and Champion Division II Female, AUTO Bliss 265Y, a Sept. 16, 2011 female sired by LH U Haul 135U. Reserve Overall Lim-Flex and Reserve Division II Female went to MAGS Yeller, exhibited by Grant Hubbard of Miami, Okla., She is sired by MAGS Waiter and was born Nov. 15, 2011.

Division I Lim-Flex Female, MAGS Zuzka, was exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle of Platteville, Colo., and was born March 24, 2012. Reserve Division I Lim-Flex Female was awarded to MAGS Zeharah, a Feb. 22, 2012 female exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle.

LMCC Melany 71Y was selected as the Champion Division III Lim-Flex Female. She was exhibited by Grant Malone of Minier, Ill., and was born April 17, 2011. Reserve Champion Division III Lim-Flex Female was exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle with MAGS Yarn Spinning, an April 27, 2011 female.

Ashley Oberling of Plainville, Ill., had the Champion Division IV Lim-Flex Female, NHCA Yo Yo 325Y, a March 28, 2011 female. The Reserve Division IV Lim-Flex Female was exhibited by Rachel Booth of Miami, Okla. with EF Yaffa 821Y, a March 12, 2011 female.

 

Champion Division V Lim-Flex Female went to DKBM Yoko Ono 1406Y, a Feb. 18, 2011 female exhibited by Hallie Bond of Nevada, Mo. Klay Beisly of Nevada, Mo., exhibited the Reserve Champion Division V Lim-Flex Female, DKBM Isabel 1414Y born Feb. 21, 2011.

Lim-Flex Bulls

Champion Lim-Flex and Division II Bull was exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle with MAGS Y So Tangled, who is sired by MAGS Winston and was born Sept. 15, 2011. Reserve Lim-Flex and Reserve Division II Bull, WB Just Wright, is sired by Gambles Hot Rod, was born on Nov. 13, 2011 and was exhibited by Drew Wright of Miami, Okla.

Division I Lim-Flex Bull was MAGS Zanthous, born Jan. 23, 2012 and exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle. Pinegar Limousin exhibited the Reserve Division I Bull, AUTO Sonic 114Z, which was born April 11, 2012.

Division III went to MAGS Youth Crusade, a Feb. 5, 2011 bull exhibited by Magness and The Greenbriar Cattle Co. of Harrodsburg, Ky.

Limousin Females

Tanner Walden of Tonganoxie, Kan. exhibited the Champion Limousin and Division III Female, WLR Euphoria. She is sired by MAGSWL Usual Suspect 538U and was born May 3, 2011. Reserve Champion Limousin and Champion Division IV Female was WLR Prada, a March 2, 2011 female sired by MAGSWL Usual Suspect 538U and exhibited by Shelby Skinner of Bolivar, Mo.

Division I Limousin Female was awarded to AUTO Luckie Too 423Y, a Dec. 15, 2011 female exhibited by Cody Heavin of Springfield, Mo. Reserve Division I Female went to WLR Caress, exhibited by Katelyn Rose Smith of Stephenville, Texas. She was born Oct. 3, 2011.

WB Look At Me Now was selected as the Reserve Division IV Female. She was born on Jan. 22, 2011 and was exhibited by Drew Wright of Miami, Okla.

Wies Limousin Ranch of Wellsville, Mo. and Edwards Land and Cattle Co. of Beulaville, NC exhibited a Nov. 7, 2010 female, ELCX Twilight 114X to Champion Division V Female. Reserve Division V Female went to MAGS Xmas Songs, a Sept. 13, 2010 female exhibited by Magness Land and Cattle.

Limousin Bulls

Pinegar Limousin exhibited the Champion Overall Limousin and Division I Bull, AUTO Captiva 508Z, a MAGS Payday son born Feb. 15, 2012. MJ Xtravaganza 1X was selected as the Reserve Overall and Champion Division III Limousin Bull. He was born Jan. 5, 2010 and is an EF Main Stay 541M son exhibited by Mark Blake of Stillwell, Kan. and Demar Farms of Canton, Texas.

GV Red Man 417Z was selected as the Reserve Division I Bull. He was born March 6, 2012 and was exhibited by Travis Vermillion of Kincaid, Kan.

Ashley Oberling showed the Champion Division II Bull, EF Power Play 745Y, born March 1, 2011.

Group Classes

Pinegar Limousin had the champion Produce of Dam out of BOHI Sunset 6156S and also exhibited the Breeder’s Best 5 Head. Magness Land and Cattle claimed Junior and Senior Get of Sire with groups sired by MAGS Winston.
