American Royal Market Goat Showmanship: Official Release

KANSAS CITY—Junior market goat exhibitors from across the country competed for top honors in the market goat showmanship contest on Friday, Oct. 26.

Chip Kemp of Auxvasse, Mo., evaluated the showmen and selected Ashley Wallander of Bertrand, Neb., as the Champion Goat Showman. The Reserve Champion Goat Showman was Braden Schovanec of Garber, Okla.

Division I Showmanship (9-12 years of age)

Champion: Johnna Stottlemyre of Luther, Okla.

Reserve: Luke Falkenstien of Oswego, Kan.

Division II Showmanship (13-16 years of age)

            Champion: Ashley Wallander of Bertrand, Neb.

Reserve: Braden Schovanec of Garber, Okla.

Division III Showmanship (17-20 years of age)

Champion: Levi Halmes of Ozark, Ark.

Reserve: Jessica Burson of Roswell, N.M.
