2012 Intercollegiate livestock judging results announced

KANSAS CITY–Intercollegiate Livestock Judging teams gathered to compete at the American Royal Livestock Judging Contest. The contest consisted of 46 teams from 26 states.

The contest is open to one term per senior college and consists of five members per team. All scores contribute toward the overall team score. Contestants judged 12 classes of livestock, containing four animals each. Classes included both breeding and market animals in beef, sheep/goat and swine divisions. Then, the contestants appeared before the judges to present eight sets of oral reasons.
