Exhibitors vie for top awards at the American Royal Premier Boer Goat Show
KANSAS CITY – Open exhibitors from seven states competed for top honors at the 2011 Premier Boer Goat Show.
On Oct. 25, Glen Martin of Mason, Texas, served as the critical eye of the 2011 American Royal Premier Boer Goat Show.
Percentage Does Division:
Overall Grand Champion Doe was SNSD Blingalicious, owned by Sheila Smith of Meadville, Mo. She first received Yearling Division Champion honors. Maggie Bartenslager of Lewisburg, W.Va., had the Overall Reserve Champion, LVB1 Zippy Z91. Her doe was also the Yearling Division Reserve Champion.
CLCC One High Class Love, shown by Lori Copeland of Kingsdown, Kan., was Junior Division Champion. The Junior Division Reserve Champion was Ankny Ankony Miss Pride Z315, owned by Newton Farms of Lakeville, Ind.
Senior Division Champion was RABO5 Honeydew, exhibited by Alyssa Brecheisen of Lyndon, Kan.
Fullblood/Purebred Does Division:
KENZ All Fired Up reigned supreme in the Fullblood/Purebred Division as the Overall Grand Champion, owned by Sheila Smith of Meadville, Mo. This doe was also announced as the Yearling Division Champion. The Overall Reserve Champion was 2DOX Lunar Eclipse, exhibited by Sarah Brend of Bucyrus, Kan. She was also named Junior Division Champion.
Junior Division Reserve Champion was Red5 Red Gate Queen of the Nile, owned by Phillip, Anita and Levi Messer of Francesville, Ind.
Yearling Division Reserve Champion was AABG Mirabilia, exhibited by Shynia Peterman of Lyons, Kan.
Hobby SK Eggs Manibu X332 was the Senior Division Champion, owned by Maurice and Kim Erwin of Davis City, Iowa. Senior Division Reserve Champion was TH Y9013, owned by Newton Farms.
Fullblood/Purebred Buck Division:
Overall Grand Champion was AABG NBD Dead On, owned by Newton Farms. This animal was also the Junior Division Champion. Tracy Diefenbach of Drexel, Mo., was the exhibitor of the Overall Reserve Champion and the Junior Division Reserve Champion, Eggs A327.
Reis Golgotha, owned by Phillip, Anita and Levi Messer, was the Yearling Division Champion. The Reserve Division Champion was Fern Hollow Farm Z9056, exhibited by Deanna Tice of Kearney, Mo.
