Today's Quarter Horse is the world's most versatile. A Champion Quarter Horse that excels in Jumping, Pleasure Driving and Hunter classes has a long, sweeping stride. Halter Horses are heavily muscled with more height. Western Pleasure Horses have a balanced stride and good conformation. Competitors in Reining are more compact.

During, before and after the American Royal Horse Shows, you are invited to tour the stabling area, meet the exhibitors and have a close look at the equine "stars" of the show. Horses are stabled in the American Royal Building and Governor's building. Be sure and visit the horse stalls or take one of our popular tours, then select your favorites and watch as they perform in front of the judges.
